Solution Focused therapy represents an unconventional approach from traditional counseling methods. It promotes post-traumatic growth. This key technique minimizes the emphasis on latter problems or effects of stress. The aim is to help survivors focus on their resiliencestrengths and explore their personal recovery as a result of adversity.

The contributing factors of the focus work are to amplify the influential post-traumatic growth thereby the survivor becomes stronger. The Therapist facilitates a strength-based intervention to graciously assist the person to organically recognize their concerns of the situation. This therapeutic model is based on solution-building rather than problem-solving. Clients are encouraged to maintain the frequency of current user behaviors.
